Leadership Tip for the Week:
If we are humble and open-minded, we can learn from virtually anyone. Some individuals will model positive traits and behaviors we can emulate. Others will not. Allow them all to be your teachers. When you experience negative traits and behaviors, promise yourself that you will never emulate them. Learning and maturing is a process of accepting the good and rejecting the bad.
Quotation attributed to:
Confucius: A Chinese philosopher considered the paragon of Chinese sages.
“If I am walking with two other men, each of them will serve as my teacher. I will pick out the good points of the one and imitate them, and the bad points of the other and correct them in myself.”
